If you look at the others in the picture, the sun is shining on the left hand side of their faces. His ear seems to be shading his cheek from the sun! Time travel is possible, and this person was a time traveler. Or B. They were holding their hand in a way that just makes it look like they were using a mobile. I certainly don't believe that we've got all the answers. People living 500 years from now will laugh at how silly many of our ideas seem to them.
