Trick, treat, or extortion?

Recommended Posts

If I go out I need a babysitter. And one who can get my baby back to sleep if people are going to be knocking on. And one who doesn't mind dealing with people begging at my door!

I don't know until I open the door if it's a few little kids with their mum or a bunch of older kids. Evidently you live somewhere nicer than I do.

I annoys me. There, I've said it.

Could i ask your age ?

I think people need to have a serious word with themself. Trick or Treating is a fun night for kids and I'm sure you will all have dont it at some point so come on. Stop been tight, buy a £1 bag of sweets and tell the kids how good they look in their outfits.

I've got a bag of haribos left over from last Halloween.

Or is it just harmless fun?

Not any more. The 'kids' that knock on my door are no more than teenage thugs wanting to cash in on a kids treat.

Last year i got my windows egged cos i didnt want to give in to them.

I dont think theyll try that this year though :hihi:
