*Pear-Cider* Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 Went on Saturday just gone - amazing food, lovely service and nice staff... Just One slightly annoying thing... I am gluten free so on the dessert menu of course not much for myself so i go for 'Eton Mess' which i know is Gluten Free but ask if this could be checked just to be safe, so im told 'everything is made fresh on the premises so the chef will know' on her return im told 'the chef says he presumes its not so don't have it' Hmm... yet its made fresh on the premises and chef doesn't know if he has put flour in it or not?... to be honest i don't think it will stop me going as i no what i can and can't eat but don't think it makes them look any good and chef doesn't have any knowledge of Gluten Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
