Rupert_Baehr
Eh? I thought 'nuclear testing sites' meant detonating those underwater / underground nukes that took out half a desert island! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nuclear_tests#France x The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) bans all nuclear explosions in all environments, for military or civilian purposes. It was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10 September 1996 but it has not yet entered into force It hasn't 'entered into force' yet, but neither the French the Brits , the Americans or the Russians have detonated any weapons since the CTBT was introduced.
