jazzamatazz
Belinda O'Hooley is best known as the songwriter and pianist with Rachel Unthank and The Winterset ( now The Unthanks ) upto now that is. She has recently teamed up with Heidi Tidow to bring their intensely beautiful, poetic and wryly observant take on the human condition to the contemporary folk scene. Since touring with label mates Chumbawamba earlier this year they've been winning over audiences all over the UK with a blend of poignant, thought provoking songs, lush harmonies and northern banter. 'Striking and refreshingly ambitious. A bold, unsettling debut.' - Neil Spencer, The Observer

linharrison
I'd highly recommend this event. I went to the first night of their tour in Leeds and it was wonderful. They're fabulous performers and very special live - great songwriting punctuated with witty banter. Anna Esslemont's accompanying on fiddle is stunning too.
