espadrille
http://www.cypnow.co.uk/bulletins/Daily-Bulletin/news/1038519/?DCMP=EMC-DailyBulletin Interesting teaching programme evaluation in this report. I have always felt that some sort of teaching around personal responsibility to children improves self esteem and confidence as they are more likely to take ownership of their problems when they leave school.Just a small study though so I wonder what results with have been obtained had the study been done in all schools. Darth Vader
This comes as no surprise. It's a pity that the government merely has paid lipservice to Citizenship in the past, it would do the country's future a world of good, if it was embraced wholeheartedly. Dozy
can we have it applied retroactively to adults as well please If only! But at least if they introduced it into all schools, it might put right the damage done by the sort of parents who think only in terms of their rights - and don't realise they have any responsibilities. With an attitude like that, it's no wonder some children don't know how to behave.
