truman
From a monetary point of view then you need to get insurance quotes both with and without pass plus...from a driving point of view then I would say that the extra tuition ,especially for motorways and night driving,is worth the cost..... freeman1987
thanks, my friend did it, and her insurance came down, so thinking about doing it, plus helps me get used to motorways so thinking off doing it, thanks again
alchresearch
I'd also factor in the extra knowledge you'll gain from it - knowledge that may prevent a crash and send your premium sky rocketing.

scottf
even though its only supposed to be used in the 1st year of insurance after you passed your test i sucessfully used it for well over 3 years with a discount every year!
DT Ralge
DriveIQ Pro threatens to take over from PassPlus - the DSA have tiptoed away ever so slightly from hearty endorsement of PP. Check out driveiq.co.uk for loads of free, excellent material designed to take inexperienced drivers well beyond the L-test standard. DriveIQ Pro is a £99 BTEC Award in Driving Science which comes with insurance discounts - four modules pre-test, a fifth post-test.
galanthusgal
Go for it - the sooner you get better experience, the more confident & better you'll be! It is very useful, particularly for driving around Sheffield where confidence is needed in anticipating other drivers (some people just can't judge how to leave a junction!)... Yeah, it costs money but the reduction in insurance helps pay for it.
