Plain Talker
I was part of the shakespeare forum event "thingie", last wednesday. I love going to the theatre. Before that i went to see round the horne revisited, the friday before last. (that was just fantastic) i want to see the "rat pack" show, coming up soon, at the lyceum, and the bacharach and david show "promises, promises". Myself and a former workmate are having our usual "event" of going to see "joseph", in December. (which, it seems might turn into a mass trip with most of the folk i worked with going along. Strix
Is there anything worth seeing at the moment? Anybody been to see anything recently?
jacwelina
There is a Harold Pinter Season coming up at Sheffield Theatres soon which Im looking forward to. If you can look past Nigel Harman and his big face advertising the The Caretaker, it looks like it should be good!
NPB!
An ex-boss of mine does amateur dramatics. A couple of years ago i went to see Cabaret up at a studio near the Hallamshire hospital. Absolutely fantastic and good acting
TrashyBook
Nigel Harman and his big face advertising the The Caretaker I saw Nigel Harman in Guys & Dolls in London, and he was fabulous. Have never really been a fan of his, but it certainly made me see him in a new light!
Tradescanthia
Saw 'The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists' many years ago at the Library Theatre. That was in the days when we all had the socialist dream, nowadays I am a lot more cynical. Damn good play though.
