bloom1961 Posted November 5, 2010 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Hi we had a problem with our avensis when starting it there is a small plastic part in the barrel which needed replacing as it was badly worn this stopped the key going into the barrel correctly to turn the ignition on we had to fiddle the key around to get it to catch but eventually it was to worn for that to even work I think it was about £15 for the part if you can change it yourself hubby did ours inabout 10mins Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
