For Xmas last year I got her a Mandy Annual from the year she was born, plus a nice bottle of wine, she loved it. Her husband is a keen walker - I found a vintage copy of wainwrights walks on ebay for him. The OH is a big iron maiden fan, he got a signed white label promo copy of their latest CD. My son is into metal so he got a signed photo of Kurt Hammett. What I do is look at all those passions and interests in somebodies life and shop for that. That's what I do as well, I hate just buying things for the sake of it. If I'm getting someone a gift I want it to be something they'll actually use. I have at least one gift for most people already but still struggling to find something for my dad... come on SF I know there's loads of men his age on here... what do you want for christmas????
