Kidnap attempt on Jenson Button in Brazil

From Jenson's interview yesterday, it seemed to be a robbery rather than a kidnap attempt ? Members of the Sauber team were robbed in a seperate incident too.

 

I'm never sure what they mean by "carjacking;" whether they mean someone tried to kidnap the person in the car, or was just trying to steal the car and/or valuables from the people in it.

Carjacking usually involves taking the car & the contents but thankfully not the people !
