shanes teeth
Back in the late 60s my mother had to go into hospital, the Lodge moor one and they thought it was TB and half of Parson Cross had to have TB jabs! What about the other half? Were they just going to let them die?

Lady Star
My OH (May the good lord infest her armpits with lemmings) had pleurisy back in 2001, it almost killed her! Almost but.... not quite Never known anything like it! The worst illness I've ever had!
Jabberwocky
What about the other half? Were they just going to let them die? I think they had already had TB. I reckon they gave it to my mummy! Bloody council estate TB isnt half as good as private estate TB! You get a better class of spat up phlegm on private estates! andygardener
I was temporailly paralysed by a weaver fish as a young 'un on holiday down in hastings. Twas on the day of the fairtale wedding of the prince of tampon and the bulemiac of hearts so I think the gloriousness of the occaision helped me recover. mojo1
I've had mumps, scarlet fever and whooping cough, I had a fun childhood. I was diagnosed by NHS direct with swine flu, but never swabbed so I can't be certain it wasn't one of the many other bugs going round at the time, but the weirdest thing I ever had was a Bartholins Cyst. Only 2% of women get that, so I consider it exotic. Google it, Mr Wocky, you'll fall in love instantly
