katerina
Yes....I remember Amberley Road,I was born at No.24 and lived there from 1938-1957. It was better known as Powells Grocery shop , my parents business, which was on the corner of Amberley Road and Edward Road. I have fond memories of many happy times down the cliffe! What about you? p.s. My Uncle Bullas Burnham lived on Amberley Street...! Frank, I remember you, and the shop. Did they call your Mum Maud? I used to watch childrens hour TV in your house when I was very young (Andy Pandy) Not many had a TV then! She was very kind to my Cousins and I. My Aunt lived a few doors from you...Margaret (Peggy) Hutchinson so I was there a lot.
