iphonelover
Yes but i dont just wear mine this time of year. I also have a metal pin badge of a poppy always on my coat and a little metal badge next to it which says 'lest we forget'.

Tess
I got mine yesterday, put some money in the box and the nice chap pinned me up. Other half had no money so waited quietly away for me, however in the meantime got grabbed by an older lady saying "a strapping lad like you shouldn't be without a poppy!" I don't know who enjoyed it most!
Prospective
Will you be wearing a poppy tomorrow? If not, why not? I know that John Snow is a prolific non-poppy-wearer. He blames "poppy facism". I have family in the forces, currently serving in Afghanistan, but I was always brought up to regard the poppy as a symbol of the government's failure to support troops after war, and I feel a bit conflicted. Love to hear some thoughts on this! Do not feel conflicted, your right. The forces are a neglected minority, especially after paid service. Hope your family who are serving keep safe and thrive. Kthebean
Agree with Jon Snow about poppy fascism. Will wear a poppy but only in the house when there's no-one else there.
Agent Orange
Got my metal pin poppy on my jacket already. I will also make contributions as and when I see someone with a tin.
Murphy Jnr
I see some of the stupid muslims were burning poppys and waving banners yesterday. Why do these morons do it? don't they realise that good muslims don't think highly of them! Idiots like this > Don't give them added air time, ignore the dumb arses. Murphy Jnr
Giving to charities of any description is a personal thing, guilt shouldn't be used to force donation. Respect and support are two different things.
