Yes one has deep meaning to around 50 plus million people in this nation alone. The other has no meaning at all to over 90% of this nations population. That alone should give the poppy equal legal protection from abuse. Yes?

 

You seem to missing the point repeatedly.

 

I'll re-state it. There are no laws that relate specifically to either the poppy or the Koran.

 

People burning either can be charged with a variety of offences.

 

What would you change?

You are totally wrong.

 

Actually I think he's right. I don't wear a poppy. Most people don't although I respect the sacrifices previous generations made against fascism and against the kind of people who would bring it back in the form of ethnic cleansing in West Ecclesfield.
