Christmas and teenagers

Recommended Posts

i am 41 and my mum still puts me a satsuma and nuts in stocking for me, love the tradition of this ,

If we did that now though, on discovering them our kids would look at us like an alien had just landed on our head and was in the process of having a <removed>. :hihi:

It's just all about £'s now isn't it. :(

Sadly though, so true. :(

Nowadays if it doesn't have an all singing and dancing *chip in it it's seen as an embarrassment.

Well unless it's an "happy" meal.

Go on, call me a cynic, but with kids it is all about "i got this, you only got that".

I hate this time of year.

*Sorry, shouldn't say chip, they are for commoners, meant "fry".

mmm well needs must this year. After years of buying everything this year I am struggling a little. Not only on the cash front but on the what to buy front too.

It seems Ive been spoiling them!

Yup, know the feeling. I have no idea what to buy them and asking them is no use as they just shrug their shoulders :help:
