Halibut
How long does it take for a car to catch fire A stationary car with the enegine turned off? They tend not to catch fire as a rule.

Tony
Apparently lots of people receive a bump on the head as a baby.
Manuel
You should have called the police straight away and told them you can see a baby alone in a car. definitely, still it was very nice of the original poster to stay and look out for the baby
boyfriday
No she could not see her car or the baby as the car park is right at the back of all the shops, how long would it take for some evil person to have put a brick through the window and just gone with the baby. Am i the only person out there who thinks this is totally irrisponsible, of any parent to leave a child in a car let alone a totally defenceless baby....... Yes, it is irresponsible, but not because of any risk of the baby being stolen. It's not crime of the century, I cant think of many parents who would retrieve their sleeping children from their carseats when they filled up with petrol or nipped into the newsagent to pick up a newspaper for example. mj.scuba
You should have called the police straight away and told them you can see a baby alone in a car. Why would you call the police straight away? Would you call the police if somebody left a baby in the car whilst at a petrol station and the parent went to pay for fuel? mj.scuba
This is so easy. 1 - Take photos. Most people have camera phones these days. 2 - Call the cops with the information there is a baby alone in a car, mentioning you saw the mother bugger off and leave it. 3 - The cops may not get there in time but the reg and your photos will cause such a sh t storm for her, she'll never be that stupid again. Is it illegal to leave a child alone in a car?
Tony
Why would you call the police straight away? Is it because it's an indicator that there is a nutter at large with a telephone?
