Alcoblog
Clear polyurethane varnish might help. Yeah! .... couple of coats of Cuprinol fence stain first (not the green.. that would look daft!)

Amaranthus
I use St Tropez as well but end up doing it every 3-4days! not alone 4weeks! works out expensive! St Tropez is rubbish!!! Try Fake Bake mousse.
MissMonkey
St Tropez is rubbish!!! Try Fake Bake mousse. I'll second this. Fake Bake is AMAZING! No tips on how to make it last longer though unfortunately, other than the obvious, mosturising.
Alcoblog
A solution of potassium permanganate works pretty well, too. (And if you've got any left over and you put it in the garden, it brings up the worms. - Then you can go fishing. ) Good tip Rupert! .... Another tip is .97% ammonia (strongest you can get and certainly not from B+Q!) Put a piece of newly made oak furniture in a small room and get an idiot to pour a small amount of the stuff into a bowl next to it whilst holding their breath .... run away very quickly and leave for half a day! Hey presto ... lovely brown furniture! Should work a treat with skin!
