I've met a few people who are members on this fine forum and don't have a problem with meeting people. However the two main meets in town are both in pubs and being an old codger I tend to find most pubs are geared towards the younger age range who go pale at the idea of socialising in a quiet place. It's the same with the Woodseats meet and am rather bad at checking the events bit so probably miss out on quite a few of the other irregular meets, but I am watching the dog walking meet idea and await a decision on a time and location.

I'm 32, I don't really think about peoples ages on the forum, and have never been to a meet.

How would I know who you are?? don't fancy the idea of turning up red faced and asking everyone in the pub if they are from the sheff forum, I can make enough of a fool of myself without any help thank you.

littleboo - if you want to go to a meet I can meet you first if you like so you have someone to walk in with. Someone did this for me and I will be eternally grateful as I too was scared of making an utter *it out of myself. :hihi:
