Does any one know the childrens poem that starts with the lines:-

So this Adolphus is the end

who'd think such things could be,

the very words you say to her,

you used to say to me.

 

It is a childrens poem about a wooden doll who is jealous because her wooden doll boyfriend has gone off with a pretty wax doll. My Mother had it in a book when she was a child and would be interested to know if any one remembers the poem and/or the title
