Vintage shop - division street

Recommended Posts

Supposedly clothing from between 1920 to 1980... However i'd say 1910, since generally antique means over 100 years old.

One quote: "The correct usage of the word vintage must be used with a year. "

All definitions of the word vintage i've found refer to wine, except:

However that is not an actual site of official language use!

it's "stinky old stuff people have thrown out" I think you'll find

I agree.

It's suppose to be 'retro' & 'hip'.

Even scruffy sods in the 1970s wouldn't wear the garbage that's on display in the widow. Doesn't even have a shop sign - what a cheapskate

It's always open when I walk past, although I'm never down town early on.

I bought a Levi jacket there a couple of days go, I swear it's not been worn more than a couple of time, looks brand new - cost £25, to buy new would have been around £75.

The staff were polite and friendly :)
