Steptoad
If it's Ryans, "it's not vintage it's second hand" (or somethig like that).
spooky3
Supposedly clothing from between 1920 to 1980... However i'd say 1910, since generally antique means over 100 years old. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vintage_clothing One quote: "The correct usage of the word vintage must be used with a year. " All definitions of the word vintage i've found refer to wine, except: http://www.ehow.com/facts_4911375_what-meaning-word-vintage.html However that is not an actual site of official language use! Bulgarian
If it's Ryans, "it's not vintage it's second hand" (or somethig like that). it's "stinky old stuff people have thrown out" I think you'll find
Mister M
it's "stinky old stuff people have thrown out" I think you'll find I agree. It's suppose to be 'retro' & 'hip'. Even scruffy sods in the 1970s wouldn't wear the garbage that's on display in the widow. Doesn't even have a shop sign - what a cheapskate
Draggletail
It's always open when I walk past, although I'm never down town early on. I bought a Levi jacket there a couple of days go, I swear it's not been worn more than a couple of time, looks brand new - cost £25, to buy new would have been around £75. The staff were polite and friendly
