RVBlade
News has reached the Red Lion at Gleadless Town End - a regular stoppimg off point. 'A Gentleman and a Scholar' - you gave the phrase real meaning. Nothing but sadness and shock at the the loss of a man who just knew how to be. Condolences to family from Brian, Mags and all of us at the Lion.
shims
I'm very sorry to hear this, especially someone leaving at such a young age. He always came across as a voice of reason on the forum. My condolences to those close to him. Rest in peace.
hard2miss
No, never This is a wind up surely ? If this is right then it is a very very sad day for this forum. I remember happy hippy stepping in and even giving me MP advice on more than one occasion and had no Idea there was ever anything wrong. I am totally gutted if his is all for real and wish hippy a short step into the kingdom this person deserves. RIP. Lord watch over someone that saw fit to watch over others. AMEN.
