Support the Beijing City

If you are in any reasonable distance of Greenhill, S8 and like Chinese food, might I suggest you patronise the Beijing City? It occupies a cavernous space next to the Bocking Lane Spar. Until earlier this year I lived in Greenhill and found their takeaways and restaurant meals uniformly excellent, with no trace of the rude service complained about by visitors to city centre Chinese restaurants.

The word on the street is that the space has been targeted by Tesco for yet another "Metro". (It is probably just about the right size...with implications for all the local businesses in that small shopping area.)

So please keep the Beijing City going! Its staff are among the friendliest and most efficient you'll find.

This is the best Chinese in Sheffield. I agree with the above post entirely. Food is consistently excellent and when you order a takeaway - it is always ready on time. I hope the Tesco rumour is not true.

Maybe the owner of Beijing City wants to be bought out!

 

Any company that makes £6k a minute and profits of £1.6 billion will probably pay a good price for his family business that he could well retire from very comfortably!

I add my support to Beijing City, we always have excellent food and service and have introduced friends, who agree with us. I do hope it doesn't close.
