The group takes its name from the Shakespeare play Titus Andronicus, and have cited musical and stylistic influences as diverse as Neutral Milk Hotel and Pulp. Their debut album, The Airing of Grievances, was released in 2008, and described as the sound of a "violent, overblown and irreverent" indie band in a positive review on Pitchfork. The band's second album, The Monitor, was released on March 9, 2010. In March, Rolling Stone magazine named the band one of the 7 best new bands of 2010. Titus Andronicus has also been featured on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Venus Zine and Dirty Laundry TV. If you can't make it to any of those places during the day, why not arrive early and pick one up from behind the bar? We'll be selling them right up until 8pm at advance prices - while stocks last.
