That's the ultimate, end of the line figure for the year 2008. Over 70% were denied leave to say. AFAIK that includes all the applications that were finalised in that year, which means it includes any appeals.

And how many just dissappear, some to be found later illegaly working for fast food restaurants and other illegal cash in the hand jobs?

 

So the system of keeping track of them and deporting them could be improved, I've no argument with that.
