Strix
We've been invited to a wedding in London, but the happy couple live in Holland. Having got married in Scotland ourselves, we know how difficult it is to transport lots of wedding presents home, so we used JohnLewis' wedding list service, but our friends haven't included a wedding list in their invitation So does anybody know the best way of going about buying them a wedding voucher? Can we (for instance) get them an Amazon voucher, or is there a particularly good department store in Holland we could online purchase a voucher from? Chris_Sleeps
So does anybody know the best way of going about buying them a wedding voucher? Can we (for instance) get them an Amazon voucher Amazon ship to Europe, yeah. Especially Holland. I've bought myself from Amazon france before and it was no trouble. An option is maybe the dutch department store 'De Bijenkorf' (Info) but their website is in dutch so it's beyond use for me. They have branches in: Amstelveen Amsterdam Arnhem Breda Den Haag Eindhoven Enschede s-Hertogenbosch Groningen Maastricht Rotterdam Utrecht

Obelix
or is there a particularly good department store in Holland we could online purchase a voucher from? Yes, it's the De Bijenkorf (the Beehive) in Amsterdam. One of the best and somewhat exclusive places. http://www.debijenkorf.nl/page/product_browse?fh_location=//catalog01/nl_NL/categories%3C{catalog01_30}&category=30 is the gift card page. If you fill the contact form in and ask for someone to call you in English they will - about 80% of the Dutch speak English anyway http://www.debijenkorf.nl/online-klantenpanel Vroom & Dreesmann is a middle class but a much more extensive chain of dept stores, spread over the Nederlands https://www.vd.nl/vendWebShop/pages/contact.jsf is their contact form - again they do gift cards.
