Green based hair dye?

Recommended Posts

I have a book (yes at my Dad's), called something like Women's Institute Book of Country Crafts, i'll look in that for you next time i'm over...

But these were not bad articles...

Most other articles just suggest using green food colouring as the green element...

Long story short...

For green dye use: oak bark, peach leaves, or crab apple leaves and bark

Are you trying to get rid of the red to dye it blonde? My hairdresser told me to put a permanent brown dye and leave for about 6 weeks before going blonde again. The brown (dark brown) will cover the red without sending your hair a funny colour but it does mean you'll be stuck with brown hair for a while x
