Pitsmoor/firvale S5 1930's - 1950's

Hi been searching through lots of different sites, to try to find anyone that remembers Leonard E Smith, mum and Dad believed to be William & Jessie Claxton. I am trying to further a family tree ;-)

 

All I know is the family lived in Wheldrake Road in 1925, around the time Len would have been born. They then appear to have moved to Hampton Road in the early 30's, no trace of them after the early 50's.

 

Len joined the Grenadier Guards sometime during WW2

 

 

I know this is a long shot, but needing anyone that remembers the area and the people that lived there, maybe, chatting about these times will jog someones memory.
