Help needed start my scooter

have a 50cc x8rx 50cc scooter thats not running

new coil,petrol,oil,plug,lead,cap,

i have put petrol down barrel and still not fireing

never had it running so can anyone help its stripped down we just need to get it running then we can start to rebuild it .....

Have you checked you're getting a spark?

 

If the answer is yes, next strip the carburettor and make sure the jets aren't gummed up.

Done both and till not firing up new coil lees cap plug ect now stuck so looking for someone how knows what they are doing can supply tea/ coffee ect thanks karl

If putting petrol down the barrel doesnt work then its electrical.

If you can get it down to us I'll take a look for free, fairly quiet at the moment.

Can you take out the spark plug, "ground" the exterior screw part of the plug onto something metal and then try starting and looking for a spark?

You might have when its not under compression,if its weak under compression it will dissapear.

 

if you light fuel it will burn,your obviously not igniting it.Is the plug new?
