Does anyone know reasonable Car insurance Company for my 18 year old

I am trying to get car insurance for my son, he is 18 years old any one out there know of any companys that are reasonable or have just insured there first car.

That’s a contradiction of terms and I suppose depends on what you mean by reasonable, if you go down the legal route I guess you are looking at 2k minimum ………… good luck.

try a company called ikube or i cube, they require you have a tracker fitted(by them0 and your son wont be able to drive the car between the hours 11pm till 5 am, if he does they will charge him £45 each time he does it, there are two advantages to this method 1 is that his insurance will be roughly halfed and 2 you will be able to log on to the companies website and see where your son is, or if his car gets stolen you can talk the police to within 5 yards of it.

NFU -- national farmers union - chapeltown -give um a try the cheapest i've found , ring them for a quote .

my son "first time driver" £200 cheaper than anywhere else.

I changed from direct line and saved £180 .

Its costing us 3k a year to insure my son (tpft clio 1.2), we took the insurance out when he was 17 so whether it would reduce significantly at 18 I have no idea.

 

Regarding i-kube, give them a try, but they only do comprehensive policies, and best quote I got from them was 4250.

My son is 20 and as 3 years no claims and paid more than that for a 1.2 corsa Fully comp.

really?, my son 19 year old had an s plate 106 and it cost him just under £1500

I have looked for my lad next year, even putting him on my wifes with lots of no claims and the cheapest was £1700, cars worth about £500
