2050 Paul Weller on stage

2250 Event ends

After instantly selling out 5 nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall in May, Paul Weller – surely one of the hardest working men in rock - announces a UK arena tour throughout November and December 2010, including his first ever Motorpoint Arena gig on Tuesday 30th November.

The Bees will be supporting Paul Weller on his forthcoming tour

Paul, who at the NME Awards in February was quite rightly ‘crowned’ the year’s Godlike Genius, releases his eagerly anticipated new album “Wake Up The Nation” on Island Records on April 19th.

Anyone going to see Paul’s shows should expect to hear highlights from the new album plus a good smattering of oldies and goldies and perhaps a few surprises…

Tickets priced £35 (booking fee may apply) go on general sale at 9am on Friday 26th March.

Tickets for Paul Weller at Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday 30th November are available online through this web site at http://www.motorpointarena.co.uk, through the ticket hotline on 0114 256 56 56 or in person at the Arena Box Office.

Not sure how to get home? will trams be running and can you pre book a taxi from city taxi's for about eleven? maybe best idea instead of waiting around after in the snow?

The main roads will around the arena are clear at the moment.

There is normally plenty of black cabs around at kicking out time.

You can pre-book taxi's however they will only put the call out to drivers around 10.45 so actually no point pre-booking as your not guarenteed. Best bet would be tram but I'd set off early as they will be busier than usual I would imagine.
