Fish, the charismatic, former singer of British Prog-Rock-Band "Marillion" will come to The Boardwalk on Thursday 9th December. It is going to be acoustic! In this case less is more. The unplugged versions of old and new songs have never been performed this way. The well-known masterpieces of his long-lasting musical career will be staged in a distinctive and alternative fashion. Fish undresses the songs of their original garments in order to then reconstruct them in a new minimalist, versatile and intimate form. The acoustic concerts promise hours of pleasure, wonderful ballads and big hits. Piano, guitar and vocal – more is not needed. Fish puts his musical soul in the hands of his listeners without a safety net. That makes him so congenial and unique. It is another milestone as well as a personal and professional challenge for Fish to step out from the Marillion-nostalgia and present his musical self-awareness free from all restraints and standards.
