horribleblob
I threw my cigarette end in the snow to help melt a bit of it. The butterfly effect in chaos theory springs to mind.
the_rudeboy
Yesterday morning I brought in a loaf and butter and made toast for people in the office. Not particularly genorous, but it was appreciated.
Suffragette1
As others have done, I've checked on elderly neighbours and done shopping for them, even if they did report us to the Council for our overhanging branches from the trees in our front 'garden'. lyndix
setting off to the shops this morning and an old guy fell over outside, managed to pick him up and get him inside our house, give him a cuppa etc. and rang for an ambulance. because of where I live (the bottom of a very steep hill which is packed with snow and ice) the ambulance couldn`t get down, neither could the fire service , so my living room was made into a makeshift A+E for most of the day until edale mountain rescue came and pulled the poor guy up the snow filled hill on one of their fantastic rescue sledges and into the waiting ambulance. and I`ve still not been to the shops!
