louisbourg Posted December 1, 2010 Share Posted December 1, 2010 anyone could give any help or advice please my sister and her son are booked to fly to egypt from doncaster tomorrow morning , i think around 9am doncaster airport is saying closed on its website police are telling you not to drive as the roads are bad first choice have said you must still get to the airport the insurance company have said call back nearer the time so not only is she so upset , .pack .... don't pack look forward to it , ..........but you might not go it just seems no one knows whats going on i just wish that i had the money to tell her don't go , but it's so silly being really forced to have to make the effort , with the weather so scary , it seems in order to validate your insurance , she simply can't afford to say sod it but your own common sense tells us its totally idiotic to even have to try and get there with it as bad as this and we know that , and really wish it was that simple does anyone have any advice on this please ?? are you in the same boat ?? please let me know , if you know someone thats had to go to the airports , did they get off etc many thanks sharon she has a taxi booked , from the company we have always used for years , and he was doing a drop at manchester this afternoon , and said he will call her later , as he might know more , roads etc many thanks sharon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
