miaowwoof
<<<What do i need >>> You KNEED flour and water! ( and a bit of salt, yeast, butter or oil, and pref a bread maker) is plain flour ok? or does it have to be bread flour?
Badgerramble
My local co-op had a sign up indicating they were rationing breadcakes to 2 per person. Nothing about how many loaves you could buy though !?! No breadcakes left in the shop at 2pm and only 1 or 2 loaves. Clearly people had been having bread frenzies earlier. I'm thinking of substituting socks instead of bread. Do you think this will work better with or without butter, or will it be filling dependant? foxydebs
I haven't had any bread for over 2 years since I became intolerant to wheat, as gluten free bread is just horrible. I do have loads of lactose free milk in stock, so I am ok there I do miss bread dreadfully, but it is possible to live without it, stock up on oatcakes instead. Have you tried Juvela bread on prescription or Genius bread from supermarkets. Ive found these to be the nicest two of the gluten free breads. The glutafin bread is definitiely horrible I dont actually miss bread that much as it always made me deel bloated after eating it.
hard2miss
is plain flour ok? or does it have to be bread flour? I think if your after chapati's you'll be ok. andyofborg
is plain flour ok? or does it have to be bread flour? as long as you are using yeast then plain flour should be ok, though you might not get as big a rise as you would with bread flour.
