Amaranthus
Need to know how expensive parts are... how reliable they are... etc. Already know insurance on them is ridiculous but nothing I can do about that. Any info appreciated.
Alcoblog
I often have to dodge calipers! They bloody hurt! ... especially when they turn the electricity up! Hiding under the bed seems to work but can be difficult with the straitjacket on.
Mmrraww
We had one for a while before upgrading to a Nitro They arent bad cars but as with many American cars they arent the best built cars in the world. The weirdest thing about them is the gearbox, which never seems to really make its mind up about which gear to stick to when cruising at a certain speed. It also seems to take ages to move up through the gears making it quite a loud journey in most cases. Gears can be changed manually though if you particularly want to Mechanical reliability wasnt too bad though, cant remember it ever going in for anything serious, apart from when it was called in to change something or other in order for it not to blow up if the car was flipped... Bit scary but it was sorted quick enough - im guessing if you were to buy one now it would already have that sorted Cool enough car - good stereo - comfortable in all seats unless towing a caravan, in which case it feels very odd in the back
Amaranthus
Ok, thanks, think we'll go for one, sounds good. How big are they say in relation to a Q7?
Mmrraww
I would think a lot smaller, however ive never even been up close to a Q7. Just remember i dont think they have 4 wheel drive, unlike the Q7 i believe which does
the_rudeboy
I really liked the look of them but was very disappointed when I test drove a manual one a couple of years ago. It looked and felt cheap and nasty inside too.

Didnt really know they had a manual version - has to be better than the auto
