only_me
Noticed a few houses with their guttering hanging off. I know this is the weight of the snow moving down the roof. Trouble is this all seems to be the newer type of plastic stuff. They dont make em like they used to. Best go out and check yours folks lol:(
natalie H
Mine is wooden and it came down yesterday. About 6ft long. Could have been brown bread if it had hit me

dosxuk
How long before someone appears blaming the council for not gritting their roof?
Space
I blame the council. They should've gritted the roofs way before the snow fell..
Moosey
Mine fell off yesterday. Fixed it myself today. It's not massively hard. Just need a ladder, drill and a few new screws.
Isabelle
Ours is bent, some of the brackets have snapped off, and its sagging at the back of the house. Waiting til the snow clears, we need some roof ladders to get up there and put new ones on.
linzi_13
If it's easy enough my hubby should be able to do it, but need to buy new guttering and new brackets as ours have broken and cannot simply be put back on. Where can you buy this from? Thanks

Where can you buy this from? Thanks You can get it from any builder's merchant or DIY store, but I wouldn't fancy tackling that in this weather. If you're using any of the old guttering then you have to match the make and style so it is essential to take a sample along with you; sometimes its easier to use all new.
