Love2print
What is going to make the Davy Sports Club fayre the best? What are you doing to attract brides and promote the venue? I ask because it's new and I'm sure I am not the only one who takes caution with a new fayre.

After trawling the Wedding Fayre circuit for a few years now and found that each one is individual and has its own problems, wethought that as a business we can do much much better. The venue is sorted and is on a very busy road with plenty of parking. The structure is in place as is the advertising model. All is needed is a quantity of exhibitors that would like to commit to the three fayres, get exclusivity to the venue and discounted exhibition rates. Hope this helps. By the way this will be the best and every Bride will receive the maximum help available from all exhibiting trades.
laura16
I was thinking of doing a wedding fayre but the stalls are so expensive, does anyone think they are worth it and do you get a lot of business from it?
Love2print
Hi laura16, I have found wedding fayres a mixed bunch. You need to be a good sales person to drum up business but you also need to attend a decent fayre. Avoid poorly advertised fayres as there will be a very low turn out of brides. That's why I always ask how it will be advertised and what the fayre organisers are doing to attract brides. As you say they can be expensive and it's a waste of money if hardly anyone turns up. I also find that fayres in Spring time are the busiest.

IDo Magazine
nigel, i dont want to throw a dampner on a very good idea...but have you checked the T&C of the event? many dont allow third party subletting of plots and i suspect they would take this view of the arrangement unless you have checked with them first x Hi Nigel If you and other "roving artists" wanted to get together I would take a look at offering you a stand split between you.
