big_g
Quick question but is the fridge freezer in an unheated room? Also, can you hear the compressor going? (That was two questions). G
V.Rossi
Going to ask a stupid question but you'd be suprised how many people go straight for complicated electrical problems and ignore the simplest of solutions. Have you accidentally moved the thermostat?
Jobean
don't know where you live but here in my area of S6 we have been having power cuts like they are going out of fashion! Was off so long the other day I was going to bury the freezer contents in the snow!
The PIT
Should be back to normal temps so check the thermostat and is the compressor running. Also if it's in a unheated room it wont work properly anyway.
Leah-Lacie
My fridge was warm a while ago, and my freezer was too cold. My landlady got a repair man out and the liquid in the back wasn't under enough pressure to flow all the way round or something. I still cant believe she paid £100 to fix that...on a 5 yr old appliance.
bluemonday
Have you moved it at all? Tipping them so they are horizontal can break them.
Strix
if your room temp has dropped to 4degrees or lower then the thermostat decides it's cold enough, and won't drive the fridge. a fridge freezer only has one thermostat, so if the freezer isn't cold, but the fridge is (eg if the door is left open), then open the fridge so the unit knows it needs to be 'working' if you don't have your heating on overnight, that'd explain why at 8am this morning it wasn't working
