harvey19
BBC - Youtube. London Student Protest / Riot - Police Charge On Horseback. The police horses advanced towards the crowd which dispersed and the horses went into the area vacated by the crowd. If the horses had charged into the crowd there would have been casualties I would have thought.

Grandad.Malky
Should the army be brought in to control violent demonstrations Which band will sing about the aftermath if they do use the Army? Bloody Sunday (1972) Thirteen males, seven of whom were teenagers, died immediately or soon after, while the death of another man four and a half months later has been attributed to the injuries he received on that day. Two protesters were injured when they were run down by army vehicles. Five of those wounded were shot in the back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI8xgCvLKJE&feature=fvw
harvey19
It's only wrong to charge a crowd if casualties are caused? My point was that if they had charged into the crowd there would have been casualties. The use of horses is a legitimate crowd control tactic.
