Headteacher;questionable behaviour

Recommended Posts

You do not seem to have the necessary grammatical ability to teach people based on the above post. So, your post is either a joke that isn't funny or an attempt to rationalise your paranoia. I think the latter. I have experience of people with mental health issues. Feel free to PM me.

If you mean I am inarticulate you may be correct in that assertion. My post is not a joke and I doubt paranoia can be rationalised.I have never studied psychology but I understood that paranoia can be explained but can never be considered rational.

Most people have experience of people with mental health issues and indeed a close relative took his own life some 20 years ago;I think you mean you have working experience. It is generous of you to offer me your support but I do not have much trust in your sincerity and your remarks about"necessary grammatical ability" were clumsy both in tone and in style.I should stick to your weekly column in Good Housekeeping where the readers will appreciate your gross oversimplification and superficial treatment of complex issues.

If you can't manage the simple act of providing just 3 documents, and nothing else, to a school then you can't expect to be employed as a teacher - you're better off cleaning wheely bins or something of that ilk

I'm finding it hard to understand why you would give a folder of documents to someone and then only expect them to read the first 3 in the folder, the school won't even realise that they have done anything wrong ! For future reference when you go to an interview only take the documents that you need for that job and not a folder of documents that are irrelevant:help:

Which is all really lovely, but it misses the substantive point. Why did you give the school sensitive documents that you didn't need to give them?

On that basis alone, I'd have refused to appoint you, regardless of the content of the documents. If you can't put the correct pieces of paper in a folder, you clearly aren't a fit person to be in charge of 30 kids.

So you handed over a folder of documents which included documents which weren't anything to do with your job application?

That's really not a sensible thing to do, is it? Any PA in that situation is likely to assume that this is a folder in support of your job application and would open and copy everything in it. How are they supposed to know that these letters aren't related to this job application?

The question of why this would mean that you are not going to get the job stands though- was the letter an application to be a porn actor or something?

They asked for three pieces of information.I keep all certificates in one folder;I was unwise to do this in retrospect but assumed some integrity on behalf of the PA in question. If I told my son to take 3 X £5 from my wallet I would not expect him to clear the wallet.I did not apply to be a porn actor and why would that affect a job application.Did you miss out for such reasons?

I am quite certain that I am fit to do the job as I already have such a job.You are presumably well-qualifed to make such a call. The PA only needed the first three items and I did point that fact out to the PA.the PA has also apologised for her error and this has been accepted. It is not acceptable to raise the matter during an interview where all candidates must face identical questions. It should have been raised after the interview as several headteachers have confirmed.
