Isabelle
cut the bottom off an empty pop bottle, use as a funnel for pouring oil / screen wash into car. easy and can just throw away after Also good for cleaning paint brushes, put some white spirit in the bottom and leave the brush in to soak out of reach of children and pets etc. And for pouring hot cooking oil into, and leaving to solidify. Isabelle
Hot cooking oil into a plastic bottle???? Oops I should have said used cooking oil. I leave it to cool a bit first, then I pour it in before it solidifies or you have to scrape it off the pan or baking tray and its not very nice. grababargin
use an ice cube to freeze sticky gum on carpets, once frozen it will crumble and make easier to remove. incase of smaller items of clothing place the item in the freezer
Hetty
For extra sparkle on tiles, windows, mirrors, a drop of household amonia and a spot of washing up liquid in warm water, then go over when dry with ordinary window cleaner (Mr Muscle etc) smear free and shining!
