grababargin
i know you'll probably know this but just to remind you..... freezing icy mornings, to help prevent frozen windscreens, place an old towel over screen it'll stop most of ice settling, and incase of snow saves scraping it all off, just pull the towel off instead

the_rudeboy
If you have to use turps to get paint off clothing, the smell of turns can really linger. Rub in some washing up liquid, leave for 15 mins and then wash normally to remove the smell. Pattricia can vouch for this tip.
cressida
A healthy cooking tip for you !! Squeeze lemon-juice into a plastic ice-cube-tray, freeze it and empty contents into a bag and store in the freezer. Replenish this supply when necessary. Then, when you have a recipe that needs salt, you can add a 'lemon-cube' or so instead - to add flavour . Also heard of doing the same with chopped herbs in ice-cubes 'cause they are often tricky to buy all year round.

R.B Flooring
When learning karate try to find an old janitor who will teach you using techniques that seem like you are doing manual labour ie painting a fence, washing the car or sanding floors.
