If you spill beer on the carpet, spill a bit of coffee on top to remove the smell.

if you get wax on your clothes, get some paper any paper, printer paper will do and put it over the wax then iron it on hottest the heat melts the wax and the paper absobs it, job done

freezing icy mornings, to help prevent frozen windscreens, place an old towel over screen it'll stop most of ice settling, and incase of snow saves scraping it all off, just pull the towel off instead

If you have to use turps to get paint off clothing, the smell of turns can really linger. Rub in some washing up liquid, leave for 15 mins and then wash normally to remove the smell.

A healthy cooking tip for you !!

Squeeze lemon-juice into a plastic ice-cube-tray, freeze it and empty contents into a bag and store in the freezer.

Replenish this supply when necessary.

Then, when you have a recipe that needs salt, you can add a 'lemon-cube' or so instead - to add flavour .

 

Also heard of doing the same with chopped herbs in ice-cubes 'cause they are often tricky to buy all year round.
