epiphany
What's stopping some wealthy investor from hiring agents to buy up as much stock as possible, dump it, cause a panic, and buy up the remaining stock dirt cheap?
euclid
I think it's the same with the housing market...leak to the press, house value's are dropping dramatically and when they are low enough the rich just buy them as investments....bricks and mortar will always be needed..... Obelix
The markets are generally good at spotting things like that, and no one person or organisation has the resources to pull it off.
