Treatment
'' we need to pay these people such money to avoid their talent going abroad''. Would this be the same 'talent' which resulted in the Taxpayer having to buy 83% of their company to keep them afloat ? If so they should take their 'talent' abroad and go and screw up another country.
Mecky
no good crying about it, its not their fault you done crap at school and have a crap job! you could have been a banker if you were intelligent enough to get a decent job, so its no good crying about it now There's so much wrong with that little rant it's difficult to know where to start. Then they'd receive an appropriate "bonus" in the form of a firing squad.

Fishcake
Judging by what I read in the daily mail, it isn't the bankers to blame. Did you know that one immigrant family gets £750,000 a year in benefits and if they don't have a child a year the government will stop their money. All the bankers have done is do what the government tell them and most of them barely earn over £500,000 a year so are hardly rich!

And yet we (the consumers) "vote" for these institutions every day. If we want to change the banking system without relying on the state we'd do well to move our money into banks run by their members for their members with charters that reflect a more democratic stakeholdership. These banks exist today, we just have to vote for them with our feet and wallet.

So, no change from Sheffield then.
