chocki
You need to get some wax softener to put in your ears. It's no point going to have your ears syringed at the doctors until the wax is softened and this could take 2-3 days. Buy some earex or something like that
PedroS20
Pop into your local pharmacy, they will advise you on the best action if you cant get to your GP. A warm dry cloth held over the ear may help relieve the discomfort. Something my mum used to do for me when I was young!
spooky3
A couple of drops of olive oil in it. Leave overnight, then shower it thoroughly in the morning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated I have never said this, but a very, very, very little drop of Hydrogen Peroxide, in warm water should sort it. Cost about 90 pence from any Chemist. In the alternative, or as well, get some Orbit Sugar Free Chewing gum

hard2miss
My dad used to knock any blockage out that I may have had in my ears, even when I thought they were ok

Highnote
Whatever you do do not start poking your ear with toothpicks, cotton wool buds and the like, having had dealings with Audiology departments for many years, a hearing consultant once told me the sharpest thing you should poke in your ear is your elbow!!!
