Alcoblog Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 My left ear is totally blocked & it's driving me mad Has anybody got any advise on how to get rid of this, now! I guess a Stanley knife would sort the problem out. Put plenty of sheets on the floor and pre-dial emergency services. Glad to have been of assistance, I try my best! RJRB Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Unless it's blocked with wax,olive oil or otex will do no good.More likely to be an inner ear infection and only time will cure it possibly with a doctors prescription to help it.I agree it is an annoying and frustrating symptom. hard2miss Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 i have used olive oil and it worked for me not immediately but after about four days using olive oil it cleared it also it was recomended by my doctorYes and if you can't get any olive oil then try lard. Stand in the shower with your head on one side so the water spashes your ear, then gently massage the ear, don't poke anything in, and tilt your head now and again to let the water out.
