foxydebs Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Whatever you do do not start poking your ear with toothpicks,cotton wool buds and the like, having had dealings with Audiology departments for many years, a hearing consultant once told me the sharpest thing you should poke in your ear is your elbow!!! There is a risk that you may cause damage. People automatically assume that most ear problems are down to hardened ear wax - and this simply isn't true. Based on what you've said, I suspect it might be something called Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. There's some information here. Hope you feel better soon.
