brus
As the title says: http://news.uk.msn.com/uk/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=155676508. This being the case should they not look closer to home, and include fines for their own road agencies and local councils, for the delays caused to the public by not clearing snow from the roads etc.
mediman
Well judging by the response to this post it seems that the members of Sheffield Forum are quite happy in the way Sheffield council handled the rececent snow falls. I for one know I wasnt happy with the way it was handled. Its time they got their act together, too little too late. If the goverment can impliment fines on airports for the chaos the snow caused, it shouldnt be too hard to do the same to local authorities. matsalleh
In response to the thread title, any fines will only be passed onto the consumers and people will still carry on being irresponsible and think travel warnings etc do not apply to them.Same answer for council post. Surely BAA should have the sense to realise how much this is costing them and will hopefully try and put things right, OR NOt?
