Did you go to langsett school

it would be nice to hear if you went to this school between late 60's -late 70'

Was that the school which fell into disrepair and has since been turned into a hostel?

 

Or is it the one that's now the Burton Street project?

 

I love both of the buildings and have lived nearby for over 20 years, but it would have been even better to have seen both of them being better used to their full capacities.

I went to Langsett Rd/Burton St school from 67 to 72. Remember Miss Booth, Mr ford, Mr Wade, Mr Fryer, Mr Knowles and Miss wright. Kids i remember are Carline Harriott, Shaun Gillotte, Jennifer Turner, Judith Crossland and a few more.

That's the same years that I was there till 1972 remember all those teachers. Shaun had a brother called Lee then there was a girl called Theresa and Jenny Savage and also Maxine Curry!!!

I also remember kids Caroline Harriot, Shaun Gillot, Lana Beaumont, Gillian Vessey, Deborah Cann, Kay and Terry Fryer, Richard Dukes. Teachers all of the ones you mentioned plus Miss Topliss.
